Summer Camp 2019

 The cost for 2019 Summer Camp is $355 

 $50 deposit - Due Oct. 8th


$155 first half payment will be due on Feb 4th, 2019

$150 final payment will be due Apr 8th, 2019

Part Time Leader Fees of $50/day will be due Apr 8th, 2019.  After Apr 8th, fees go to $60/day.

There is a $25 late fee for anyone adding on after the Final Half payment unless you are new to the troop.  This is a council fee, not a Troop fee.

All Full-Time campers (youth and adult) will receive one 2019 Troop 310 summer t-shirt. 
Additional t-shirts and adult polos may be ordered in the spring.

The Heart of America Council has announced that refunds will no longer be considered for conflicts due to vacation, sports schedules or change of mind.  If you wind up with a conflict with the session we receive, we will work with another unit going to a different session to get you to camp.

Den Chief Coup



Beginning in the fall of 2013, Tribesmen under the age of 18 can earn the new Den Chiefs Coup.  This can be earned as a Brave, but cannot be worn until you are a Warrior. 

The requirements are:

  1. Actively participate with a Den (Cub Scout or Webelos Den) for one program year in Den and Pack activities to the satisfaction of the Den Leader
  2. Complete Den Chief Training anytime after June 2013.
  3. Recommendation form must be turned in by your Scout Unit Leader
  4. The form must be signed by your Troop leader and the Den leader with whom you worked.
  5. The form must be turned in at check-in on Day One of your Troop's session at Camp

This award will be presented for the first time during the 2014 camp season.  If you have any questions, please contact your Scoutmaster.

Troop Meeting Cancellations


Just a reminder that if the Grain Valley School District Schools are closed on Mondays due to weather conditions, our Troop meeting will also be cancelled unless conditions improve enough before meeting time.  If weather hits after school releases for the day, you will be contacted by your patrol leader if the meeting is cancelled.  Otherwise, meetings will be held on all Mondays with the exception of Memorial Day, Labor Day and the Monday between Christmas and New Years' Day.  If you are unsure, please contact your patrol leader for more information.  Emails will also be sent out via our website's broadcast system.  If you are not signed up, contact the Webmaster or Scoutmaster.
